Xypex crystalline technology

Xypex doesn't sit on the concrete. It grows inside it.

Membranes can tear, lap badly or puncture during backfill. Xypex becomes part of the concrete, sealing the pores and capillaries water uses to get through.

Section through waterproofed concrete A concrete slab with capillaries. Water enters from the top, Xypex is applied to the surface, crystals grow along the capillaries and the capillaries fill, holding water out. WATER SIDE · HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE ↓ CONCRETE SECTION · NOT TO SCALE DRY SIDE

Concrete looks solid, but capillaries run through it.
